About the Scholarship
The University of Warwick is accepting applications for the Chancellor’s International Scholarships for postgraduate study abroad beginning in October 2022.
The University Scholarship will provide the best international PhD candidates with complete tuition support and a maintenance award. Any Warwick discipline and any country are eligible to apply.
The Chancellor’s International Scholarships show the University of Warwick’s dedication to fully supporting all of its most outstanding students, regardless of their country of origin. The University of Warwick values its steadily growing status as an international university.

Benefits of the University of Warwick Scholarship
Awards made for entry in Autumn 2023 will include:
1. The full payment of tuition fees.
2. A maintenance stipend paid at the prevailing UKRI rate for 3.5 years.
If you are already in your first year of study when you apply then the length of funding will be reduced accordingly.
3. A Research, Training and Supporting Grant (RTSG) of £5,000.
Requirements for University of Warwick Scholarship
1. Applicants for a Chancellor’s International Scholarship must also be applying for a PhD at the University of Warwick to begin in October 2023;
2. Students currently enrolled on a PhD or MPhil/PhD at the University of Warwick may apply in their first year of registration only;
3. Applicants must expect to be ‘overseas’ students for fees purposes, but there are no other nationality criteria;
4. Applicants may be from any discipline at Warwick.
