The St. Theodores Anglican Church Nursing Scholarship was created to help undergraduate Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Bachelor of Nursing students who are doing their Professional Experience Placement (PEP) at an authorized clinical education facility in a rural or remote location. The scholarship will provide a contribution towards a living allowance and travel costs, and subject to the availability of funds, will be awarded to one student to a total value of $2,000 annually.

Requirements for St Theodores Anglican Church Nursing Scholarship
Applicants for the scholarship must:
1. Be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
2. Identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; and
3. Be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; and
4. Be enrolled in, or intending to enrol in, a PEP topic in the second or third year of
5. The Bachelor of Nursing at Flinders University; and
6. Be undertaking the placement in a rural venue as defined by the Australian
7. Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Areas 2-5 excluding Mount Barker; and
8. The clinical education facility has been approved by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
