Duties and Responsibilities for Recruitment at the British High Commission

Investigation

  • Enquiries into specific cases as directed by Home Office – International Operations.
  • enquiries into specific cases as assigned by the head of section, Her Majesty’s Passport Office (HMPO), and other government agencies.
  • Create operational intelligence products by gathering, interpreting, and assessing pertinent quantitative and qualitative data sources.
  • Cooperate closely with local HMG partners, host government officials, and international partners to help the collection of intelligence and the launch of investigations aimed at dismantling organised criminal rings.
  • With foreign partners, conduct training sessions
  • To stop the flow of illegal immigration arriving by air in the United Kingdom, as well as to locate and stop the activity of the organised crime organisations responsible
  • In order to maintain the integrity of the UK visa system, support the Visa Status and Information Services (VSI) section.

Skill and Experience for Recruitment at the British High Commission

  • Being familiar with Microsoft’s desktop applications (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Explorer) to the point where you can: Complex templates, tables, and data sets can be created, used, and analysed using Home Office and FCDO IT platforms.
  • Exceptional planning and time-management abilities
  • The capacity to perform under duress and with little guidance
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication abilities
  • A fluency in both written and spoken English, as well as the capacity to produce reports and briefings of the highest calibre.

Working methods:

  • The position necessitates a flexible schedule, with frequent early starts and late finishes.
  • The selected candidate will be expected to offer coverage on a rotating basis with current team members, among other roles and duties, which include the provision of an occasional after-hours duty phone function.
  • The position requires travel for meetings, site visits, training, and liaison. The majority of this can be completed in a single day, but some overnight stays are necessary.

Remuneration:

USD1,576.87 monthly.
