a) Experienced Loan Officer
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary for Neptune Microfinance Bank Recruitment
- Portfolio Officer is responsible for underwriting, credit monitoring, and managing the Bank’s various loan portfolios to achieve efficiencies and quality of the process and related lending products and services.
- Sell loan products and meet loan production targets
- Ensure all necessary information and documentation is submitted
- Consistently deliver first-class customer service
- Follow up with customer on over due repayment (Recovery)
- Perform business development tasks, including managing the pipeline by generating leads and referral business, and maintaining relationships with existing and past clients
- Meet and communicate with applicants to explain the risks and benefits, as well as the terms of loan products and government regulations
- Obtain relevant information and evaluate apllicants’ financial status, including credit history, debt-to-income ratio, and appraisal reports, to determine recommendation for loan approval
- Payments- to vendors, transfers to customers.

- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 3 – 10 years of work experience.

- Design, plan and formulate strategies to achieve the bank’s Agent Banking and financial inclusion business goals
- Responsible for the growth and expansion of the Bank’s Agency network
- Responsible for the delivery of Agent Banking targets and overall business performance.
- Monitor and ensure all compliance policies related to Agent Banking
- To grow CASA for the bank.
- To grow the Fee income for the bank.
- Able to sell salary loans and personal loans
- Increase the non-interest income by strengthening/modifying existing products and exploring new product/service lines.
- Liaise with Agents and related stakeholders to implement the Agent Banking strategy
- Carry out Training on Agent Banking
- Design initiatives, promos, and market activations that will increase transactions and lead to increased brand visibility
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with the agent network to ensure customer acquisition and product adoption at agent locations and through other self-service channels (USSD & Mobile app).
- Manage resources effectively and within budget.
