Dr. Mike Okonkwo Essay Competition kick start in the year 2004, as part of activities to celebrate the Birthday of the Presiding Bishop of TREM, Dr. Mike Okonkwo (MFR) with aim for the development of the Educational Sector.
The Bishop has impacted millions around the world. A father and a pastor to pastors across the continent. He is a dynamic speaker and evangelist, a national spokesman for Nigeria, and an advocate of Christianity.
The competition which is one of the bishop Corporate Social Responsibility aimed at encouraging the standard in the educational sector in the country in the period were educational system is struggling.
