How Much Does it Cost to Go to SNHU for One Year?
Grand Canyon University’s annual tuition rate is $16,500 for in-state and out-of-state students. Campus students pay an average of $8,100 for room and board and $1,700 in additional fees. Individual courses cost $687.50 per credit.
REQUIRED G.P.A FOR GRADUATE AND UNDERGRADUATE
GCU has different GPA criteria for each of its degree levels. For high school students, an unweighted 3.0 GPA is required. High school students with an unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher may qualify if they also meet specific ACT and SAT exam scores.
For graduate degree applicants, students may be accepted if they earned a 2.8 GPA from an accredited and GCU-approved college or program.
For doctoral candidates, applicants may be accepted if they have earned a doctoral or master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least a 3.4 GPA. Candidates who earned less than a 3.4 may still be accepted with specifications. Candidates with a master’s degree who earned below a 3.0 will not be accepted. Certain degrees and colleges, including our Honors College, have separate GPA and admission requirements.
GCU Undergraduate International Student Admissions
Application fess does not apply for both home and international students at GCU.
Submit official diploma or document showing proof of graduation from high school (secondary school). For current high school students, GCU requires an official document showing most current academic grades available. Students must provide final HS official transcripts showing proof of graduation prior to enrolling into GCU.
SAT, ACT, GMAT or GRE is recommended for lower GPA but not required for admission for stronger GPA like 3.00. and above.
For International Graduate Student
Graduate students are not required to pay any application fee.
Proof of a bachelor’s degree or graduate degree completion (or equivalent) with certified evaluation of university transcripts by a NACES or AICE recognized international evaluation agency (or a designated, approved credential evaluation service.)
Proof of English language proficiency as demonstrated by the Test of English as a Foreign Language or equivalent. Test scores must be sent to GCU directly from the evaluating organization. Copies will not be accepted.
While GCU require official transcripts and academic documents for full admission, undergraduate transfer applications and graduate applications as well as those from official partners may be considered for a limited admission based on unofficial transcripts.

Visa Process for International Students – GCU Acceptance Rate
Accepted students will get the I- 20 form along with their acceptance letter. The candidate must then contact the United States Embassy in their home country to complete the application so that F-1 a student VISA can be issued,. The SEVIS charge of I-901 must be paid.
The VISA application requires a valid passport, financial certificate, bank statements, transcripts, standardized scores, proof of health insurance/verification form, original I-20, and receipt of payment of the SEVIS fee.
