Degree Entry Requirement for ABSU Admission Form
Meeting the general entry requirements, one of the following meets the general criteria:
- West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE), including English, Mathematics and three (3) other subjects.*
- Senior School Certificate (SSCE), including English, Mathematics and three (3) other subjects.*
- National Technical Certificate (NTC) or Advanced National Technical Certificates (ANTC).*
- Senior School Certificate (SSCE), issued until 1999, including English, and four (4) other subjects.*
- General Certificate of Education (GCE), issued until 1990, Your GCE results must include (5) subjects or more which of at least two (2) must be at the advanced level.*
- *All certificates must be issued by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), the National Examinations Council of Nigeria (NECO), or the National Business & Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB).
- Appropriate O/L Subjects and ABSU JUPEB program into 200 level Direct Entry Program.
- ABSU Remedial Programs.
- Any other appropriate qualification as approved by the Senate

The ABSU Screening Form fees for Postgraduate, Masters and Doctorate programme is sold at N20,000.00 only, interested applicant should go to Firstbank, Zenith, Fidelity, Ecobank, Keystone, UBA, Union, Skybank and ABSU Microfinance bank using e-transzact network to pay the fee and service charge for the fees mention above.
Requirement for ABSU Master Programmes
Applicants for Masters degree programmes should have a minimum of Second Class lower division with 2.4 CPGA weighted from 4.0 point scale or 2.7 CPGA weighted from 5.0. point Scale relevant discipline from the Abia State University.
A candidate with a good PGD from a recognized Institution may be admitted.
Any other qualification that may be recognized from ABSU Senate.
