We have continually witness the increasing need for quality health care services development in the world in recent years, this has brought about the need for a World Class College of Nursing and Health Sciences which will trained and certify qualified Nurses, Midwives, Public Health Nurses and all other related Health Science Professionals.
Abia School of Nursing Admissions is the first of it’s kind in Abia State and indeed the entire East of the Niger.
The main aim of this project is to key into the federal Government idea of the moving Nursing Education into Colleges of Nursing in Collaboration with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). This is to ensure that Nursing and Midwifery Education in Nigeria evolve in line with the National Policy on Education and the contemporary system of Education in Nigeria
Our National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) NursingProgramme has been designed to allow for seamless academic progression of graduates along the already existing system of Education in the Country.
We also take cognizance of the new scheme of service for Nurses in Nigeria as approved by the National Council of Establishment in 2016.
